Recently, the China Automotive Chip Industry Innovation Strategic Alliance 2025 held its plenary meeting in Shanghai, centered on the core principles of “cross-industry integration, symbiotic win-win cooperation, industrial chain formation, and ecosystem alliance building.” As a vice-chair unit of the alliance, Jingwei Hirain was invited to attend and was honored with the title of “Outstanding Contribution Unit” for its exceptional performance in domestic chip vehicle validation, application promotion, and standardization efforts.

At the main forum of the conference, the research findings on “RISC-V Automotive-Grade Chip Technology and Ecosystem” were officially released. Led by the China Automotive Chip Industry Innovation Strategic Alliance, this research initiative saw Matrix Hirain serve as a key contributor alongside over 30 enterprises and organizations across the industrial chain—including FAW, Dongfeng, Great Wall, GAC, and BYD—to advance related development efforts.
Leveraging its extensive mass production experience and technological strengths in critical automotive electronics domains, Jingwei Hirain focused on developing toolchain technology solutions for RISC-V automotive-grade chips during the report's compilation. This contribution provided robust support for the systematic and practical application of the research outcomes.
Based on extensive experience in R&D testing and consulting, Jingwei Hirain delivers comprehensive end-to-end R&D testing and consulting services. These encompass foundational software, software integration, application development, software testing, integration testing, and product functional testing. We empower clients to optimize their development processes holistically, enabling domestic product localization while enhancing product quality and reliability.
In MCAL development, Jingwei Hirain maintains close collaboration with domestic chip manufacturers. Our module expertise spans ADC, DIO, I/C, O/C, Port, PWM, CAN, CANTRCV, LIN, LINTRCV, ETH, ETHSWITCH, ETHTRCV, SPI, Crypto, GPT, MCU, CORETST, WDG, EEP, FLS, FEE, FlashTst, RAMTst, CRC, DMA, DAC, RTC, UART, I2C, QSPI, MSC, PVT, eMMC, SD, and more. This collaboration empowers domestic chips with the capability to adapt to AUTOSAR base software, shortening the cycle from tape-out to in-vehicle mass production.

In MCAL driver verification, Jingwei Hirain employs advanced testing tools from both domestic and international sources—such as Tessy, AbsInt, INTEWORK-TAE, and INTEWORK-PET—to efficiently execute chip functional testing, performance testing, stress testing, and security mechanism verification. This ensures the chip's stability and reliability in real-world applications.

In meeting AUTOSAR and customized standards of major OEMs, Hirain leverages its extensive embedded software development expertise to officially launch the HIRAIN OS software platform. Its AUTOSAR OS has successfully adapted to multiple cores including PowerPC, ARM, TriCore, RH850, and ARC—including RISC-V—supporting over a hundred chip models. For domestic chips, Hirain adheres to an open and mutually beneficial cooperation philosophy, establishing partnerships with multiple chip manufacturers to jointly advance the development of domestic chips and the software ecosystem.

Jingwei Hirain remains steadfast in technological innovation, efficiently transforming cutting-edge achievements into practical, mass-producible solutions. Moving forward, the company will continue to collaborate closely with partners under the support of the China Automotive Chip Industry Innovation Strategic Alliance. We will deepen our commitment to building chip ecosystems for emerging architectures like RISC-V, contributing to the establishment of a secure, reliable, and autonomous automotive chip supply chain. This effort will provide robust support for the high-quality development and intelligent transformation of China's automotive industry.
