Jingwei Hirain and Geely Auto Achieve Full-Scale Mass Production Launch of ZCU 3.0 Platform

On January 26, Jingwei Hirain and Geely Auto jointly announced that the Geely 3.0 ZCU (Zonal Control Unit) platform, co-developed by the two parties, has achieved full-scale mass production. As a core module of Geely's new-generation electronic and electrical architecture, the platform has been successfully deployed on nine mainstream vehicle models under brands such as Geely Galaxy and Lynk & Co. This milestone marks significant progress in the collaboration between the two companies in the field of intelligent vehicle domain control units, while also providing the industry with a demonstration case of a highly integrated electronic and electrical architecture.
The ZCU 3.0 platform, now deployed at scale, was co-developed by the technical teams of both parties. Its technological advancement has laid a solid foundation for vehicle intelligence:
- Deep Integration, Architectural Redesign: By integrating multiple functions such as body comfort and air conditioning control into a single controller, the platform achieves physical fusion within the zonal architecture, significantly simplifying wiring harnesses and reducing system complexity. This provides a robust hardware foundation for the intelligent upgrades of Geely’s vehicle models.
- Embedded Algorithms, Intelligent Empowerment: The platform not only incorporates high-performance hardware but also embeds Jingwei Hirain’s full-stack self-developed algorithms, ranging from underlying electromechanical control to top-level intelligent decision-making. This enables a closed-loop intelligent process from perception and control to decision-making.
- High Scalability and Safety Assurance: Designed for future multi-domain integration, the hardware platform ensures functional safety coverage from ASIL B to ASIL D levels and reserves ample computing power to support continuous expansion.
Since its initial mass production deployment on the Geely Galaxy A7 in July 2025, the ZCU 3.0 platform has rapidly gained market validation due to its outstanding integration, stability, and scalability. Within less than six months, it has been swiftly extended to mainstream models such as the Galaxy M9 and the Lynk & Co series. To date, large-scale deliveries have been completed for nine vehicle models. This efficient and agile implementation process not only reflects the successful execution of Geely Auto’s intelligent platform strategy but also thoroughly validates the exceptional engineering adaptability and delivery capabilities of Jingwei Hirain’s ZCU 3.0 platform.
