Recently, Foton Daimler’s new Galaxy model series completed mass production delivery equipped with HiRain Technologies' next-generation Body Domain Controller. This collaboration further validates HiRain's independent R&D capabilities in domain controller technology, providing robust support for vehicle intelligence development.
HiRain’s mass-produced Body Domain Controller features independently designed hardware and software systems with full proprietary intellectual property rights. Its development strictly complies with China’s national standard GB 44495-2024 ("Road Vehicles - Cybersecurity Requirements and Testing Methods"). Compared to distributed architectures, this highly integrated BDC solution enables over 30% resource optimization for OEMs, significantly enhancing product competitiveness.
Furthermore, HiRain's BDC adopts a modular design philosophy that supports functional configuration and flexible tailoring, enabling rapid customization of high-reliability domain control solutions based on client requirements. Key Features of the Mass-Produced 24V BDC:
- Highly integrated Door Control Module (DCM) and Body Control Module (BCM) functionality, supporting control of body-domain loads including interior/exterior lighting, wipers, windows, door locks, and mirror heating
- Gateway functionality with 2 CAN and 3 LIN communication channels, CAN terminal resistor configuration, and signal routing
- Flexible configuration supporting 41+ high-side drivers, 6 high-current half-bridges, and compatibility with 14 low-current half-bridges
- Compliance with J1939 protocol, UDS diagnostics, OTA software updates and rollback
- National cybersecurity standard compliance, supporting secure boot and downloads
HiRain's new-generation BDC delivers core advantages in comprehensive functionality, high configurability, and rapid development. Future adaptations will cover Foton's light/medium/heavy truck models, with projected annual production capacity exceeding 100,000 units.
