In the current automotive industry, intelligent and electric technologies have become an irreversible trend. Recently, this solution has been applied to Geely’s latest intelligent electric vehicle model, the Geely Xingyuan, providing strong technical support for its mass production.

Beyond the functions integrated in the aforementioned XCU solution, the multi-functional controller also incorporates traditional high-power components such as the Motor Controller (MCU), Onboard Charger (OBC), DC-DC Converter (DCDC), and High Voltage Distribution Unit (PDU), further enhancing the power density of the entire controller. Thanks to its efficient system integration, it reduces the number of hardware components and connection complexity, which in turn decreases the controller’s size, increases vehicle space efficiency, reduces vehicle weight, and improves economic efficiency. Additionally, the modular design allows for flexible functionality expansion, facilitating future product upgrades and optimizations. High integration undoubtedly raises stricter standards for software and hardware integration technologies. Jingwei HiRain’s engineers, targeting industry benchmarks, have continuously focused on R&D, dedicating extensive efforts to addressing challenges in areas such as motor efficiency enhancement, EMC, NVH, and thermodynamics. In the software development process, the engineering team independently developed a series of configuration and testing tools for application-layer models and low-level code, such as HiToA, HiToB, HiToC, and HiToT.
