HIRAIN full-stack chassis domain controller has successfully achieved mass production, marking the beginning of a new chapter in intelligent mobility
Recently, the full-stack Chassis Domain Controller (CDC) independently developed by HIRAIN has been successfully integrated into a model of a new energy vehicle brand and has smoothly achieved mass production. This product has effectively optimized and upgraded the existing full-stack chassis domain controller, incorporating HIRAIN complete set of high-performance solutions, aiming to enhance vehicle performance and safety, and to help the automotive industry move towards a more intelligent, efficient, and secure future.
HIRAIN has independently developed a Chassis Domain Controller that integrates functions such as shock absorber damping control and air spring height control, simplifying the complex structure of chassis control systems. Additionally, it can integrate functions like rear-wheel steering, electronic stabilizer bars, steering column position control, and engine mounts. By combining with intelligent actuators, the Chassis Domain Controller, with sufficient reserved computing power, can support the integration of vehicle steering, braking, and suspension control functions related to the vehicle's lateral, longitudinal, and vertical directions, achieving high-level chassis coordination control and vehicle motion trajectory control for the entire vehicle. Currently, HIRAIN Chassis Domain Controller has achieved full-stack independent research and development; its controller, underlying software, air spring, and suspension algorithm modules have all smoothly entered the mass production phase. The controller successfully incorporates features such as welcome and farewell gestures, active road prediction, and magic carpet suspension, essentially achieving a clever balance between vertical handling pleasure and ride comfort of the vehicle's chassis. It is worth mentioning that the mass production of the magic carpet suspension function marks the successful construction of a bridge between the chassis system and intelligent driving by HIRAIN.
CDC
Since 2021, HIRAIN has begun to focus on the development of Chassis Domain Controllers (CDC), committed to providing a software function decoupling platform. Within three years, the company has successfully entered the supply chains of NIO, Changan, achieving consecutive mass production. Concurrently, low-cost single CDC solutions, three-phase air compressor PPK schemes, and suspension One-Box solutions are in the research and development phase, aiming to lay a solid foundation for the launch of next-generation products.
Since 2006, HIRAIN has begun to develop in the field of chassis product research and development. After nearly two decades of relentless efforts and technological accumulation, the company has established a complete product line that covers steering assist system control, linear chassis products, electronic parking systems, chassis domain controllers, and suspension control, with a cumulative shipment of nearly 2 million units. This demonstrates its profound foundation and strong capabilities in the field of chassis control technology.
