Chery - HIRAIN Supply Chain Technology Co-creation Exchange Day was successfully held

On September 12, 2024, Chery - HIRAIN Technology Exchange Day was successfully held at Chery headquarters in Wuhu City, Anhui Province. This event marks that HIRAIN and Chery Automobile once again work together to deeply explore the cutting-edge trend of new automotive intelligent technology, and jointly open a new chapter of future-oriented value services and products.

In the face of the global wave of automotive intelligence and new opportunities for industrial change, HIRAIN exhibited the latest research and development achievements of six categories of automotive electronic products, such as intelligent driving, intelligent network connection, intelligent cockpit, body comfort, new energy power, and chassis control. There are also special exhibition areas such as offshore compliance functional safety services, domestic independent research and development tool chain, EE architecture development and process improvement, virtual simulation and real vehicle test platform, and AI large model test application practice. At the event site, the management and technical teams of both sides came to the exhibition area to visit, and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the future direction and needs of technology research and development. Some of the R&D results displayed on site are as follows:

▎ADAS

HIRAIN new generation of ADAS, using 8 million pixel camera, support vehicle Ethernet, with lane departure alarm, vehicle anti-collision alarm, traffic sign recognition, intelligent high beam control, automatic emergency braking, emergency lane keeping, adaptive cruise, lane keeping assistance, traffic congestion assistance, integrated cruise assistance, intelligent speed assistance and other functions. It can realize lane recognition, pedestrian detection, traffic light recognition, road sign recognition and other functions, and has the ability to supply to global customers.

▎ZCU

The latest mass-produced physical area control unit (ZCU) of HIRAIN integrates the input and output of vehicle body comfort, power, air conditioning thermal management and other functions, and integrates the power distribution function of the whole vehicle (primary power distribution, secondary power distribution), which is at the advanced level in China; Integrate a variety of body comfort control of electromechanical algorithms, distribution protection algorithms and other technologies, support AB partition non-inductive OTA scrub; Reserve CPU computing power and Ethernet resources to support third-party software deployment and SOMEIP service deployment; The safety level is high, and the functional safety of the system meets ASIL B/D level.

▎ AR HUD

HIRAIN AR HUD has industry-leading performance parameters. In terms of optical performance, 1800:1 high contrast, 15000nit high brightness, 2K HD pixels provide users with rich color, high-definition, high image quality visual experience. In terms of driving applications, it supports 13°×4°, 13°×5° field of view, 10m distance VID, and 92 inches large format according to different application scenarios, providing users with "immersive" giant screen viewing experience.

▎Chassis domain controller

The chassis domain controller is independently developed by HIRAIN, which integrates the functions of shock absorber damping control and air spring height control, simplifying the complex chassis control system structure. At the same time, it can also integrate rear-wheel steering, electronic stabilizer bar, steering column position control, engine mounting and other functions. By combining with intelligent actuators, the chassis domain controller with sufficient computing power can support the integration of vehicle steering, braking, suspension and other transverse, longitudinal and vertical related control functions, and complete the high-level chassis coordination control and vehicle motion trajectory control.

▎Domestic autonomous tool chain

INTEWORK, ModelBase, OrienLink series as HIRAIN self-developed domestic software, after years of development, has covered a number of key areas of automotive electronics, such as bus, diagnosis, testing, intelligent driving, vehicle modeling, data closed-loop research and development, providing a complete and one-stop solution for automotive electronics research and development.

▎Simulation test laboratory

The simulation test laboratory can not only serve the simulation test of automotive electronic parts, but also support system-level and whole-vehicle level testing. With more than 20 years of development in automotive electronic testing business, HIRAIN is now able to provide a complete tool chain and test services covering automotive electronic testing. It is a full-link test laboratory solution for models, codes, product functions, network communication, modeling and simulation, bench verification, and real vehicle testing.
