Inland River Port —— Huai'an Port

In 2025, Jingwei Hirain successfully won the bid for the procurement project of Heavy-duty Autonomous Vehicles (HAVs) for the fully automated container terminal of Huai'an New Port in Jiangsu Province. Hirain will provide 10 HAVs along with a supporting Operation Management System, primarily serving the container transfer operations at the water transport terminal of Huai'an New Port Phase III project. As a core hub of the Yangtze River Delta inland shipping center, Huai'an New Port focuses on its water transport terminal as the key functional area, undertaking the efficient distribution of regional bulk cargo and containers. This intelligent upgrade will significantly enhance the terminal's operational efficiency and green operation standards.

The vehicles are equipped with a new energy power system, which reduces carbon emissions in the port area and optimizes the energy consumption structure compared to traditional fuel-powered equipment. As a technology supplier for automated container terminals, Jingwei Hirain not only provides HAVs but also develops a horizontal transport Operation Management System (OMS) to enable intelligent management of the entire process, including vehicle scheduling, route planning, and status monitoring. This offers an end-to-end solution for Huai'an New Port in building a "green, efficient, and intelligent" water transport hub.

The implementation of this project will further strengthen Huai'an New Port's role as a key node along the "Golden Waterway." By integrating intelligent equipment with management systems, it will provide robust support for regional economic development and the upgrading of the Yangtze River Delta inland waterway network, thereby driving the transformation of waterway logistics toward "smart and low-carbon" operations.
