Going Global, Systems Proven: Hirain Technologies Leads Chinese Suppliers in Front Camera Exports

According to the Market Share Report on ADAS Front Camera Suppliers for Chinese Own-Brand Exported Passenger Vehicles released by the Gaogong Intelligent Automobile Research Institute (GGAI), Hirain Technologies ranked second on the list with an 18.50% market share from January to June 2026, leading the camp of Chinese domestic suppliers. This achievement stems from Hirain's more than a decade of continuous dedication and accumulated expertise in driver assistance technology.
According to statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), domestic new passenger vehicle sales fell 24.3% year on year in the first half of 2026, while exports grew 71.7% — overseas markets are becoming a key pillar of growth for China's automotive industry. Yet going global is not a simple matter of replicating domestic product solutions. Take the European market as an example: GSR 2.0 (the EU General Safety Regulation) imposes stricter regulatory requirements on intelligent safety functions such as AEB, ELKS, and ISA. At the same time, the Euro NCAP safety rating has become an important benchmark for products entering mainstream markets and staying competitive. As a result, the front camera all-in-one unit — capable of supporting multiple regulatory and safety-rating functions — has become the mainstream ADAS solution in today's export market.

▎Product Capability: A "Five-Star Passport" to the Highest Regulatory Ground
Hirain's Intelligent Front Camera (IFC) is developed on the Mobileye EyeQ™6 Lite chip, delivering multiple driver assistance functions including AEB, ACC, LKA, iACC, and TJA, and meeting Euro NCAP five-star safety rating requirements. The 8-megapixel camera, paired with an ultra-wide 120° field of view, extends the effective detection range for pedestrians and cyclists by 70% compared with the previous-generation solution, while the AEB false activation rate has been reduced to less than once per 3 million kilometers on average.
In the 2025 Euro NCAP rating tests, the Voyah Courage, Geely Galaxy EX5, and Hongqi E-HS9 — all equipped with this solution — swept the top three places in the SUV driver assistance rankings.
▎Safety System: Four-Domain Coverage, Completing the AI Safety Puzzle
Beneath compliance capability lies the development system. In October 2025, Hirain became the first Chinese Tier 1 supplier to obtain the ISO/PAS 8800 automotive AI safety process certification. Building on its existing ISO 26262 functional safety, ISO 21448 SOTIF (Safety of the Intended Functionality), and ISO/SAE 21434 cybersecurity certifications, Hirain has established a complete safety development system spanning four domains — turning "compliance" from a single-point certification into a reusable systemic capability.
▎Localized Service: Building Responsiveness at the Customer's Doorstep
Hirain has established localized service capabilities covering overseas project development, regulatory adaptation, technical support, and rapid response. To further strengthen local responsiveness and business delivery for overseas customers, Hirain set up an R&D and service center in Germany in 2025. Local teams provide support throughout the entire cooperation lifecycle, meeting overseas OEMs' requirements for long-term partnership and continuous iteration.
