On August 21, the 2026 (4th) Zhilu Award Ceremony concluded during the Chengdu International Auto Show. Hirain Technologies' 800V High-Voltage Multi-in-One product was honored with the Gold Prize in the Electric Control category, a testament to Hirain's solid expertise in integrated innovation for new energy powertrain systems.

Multi-in-One integration is not a new concept, and the industry has seen numerous similar solutions. What set Hirain's High-Voltage Multi-in-One apart and earned it the Gold Prize was not the simple stacking of components and functions, but rather a series of targeted engineering efforts starting from the platform architecture.
The Second Half of Multi-in-One: From "Fitting In" to "Managing Well"
In the conventional industry understanding, the value of Multi-in-One integration lies in physical integration—saving space, reducing wiring harnesses, and lowering material costs. This logic is not wrong, but it only answers the question of "fitting in."
The real challenge is "managing well": multiple control logics coexisting on a single platform requires rational computing power allocation; high-voltage components densely packed together demand effective electromagnetic interference suppression; and when a component fails, service accessibility and cost controllability must be considered at the design stage.

▎System-Level Architecture Reconstruction
Hirain's approach is integration at the architectural level rather than merely the structural level. The 800V High-Voltage Multi-in-One product performs system-level architecture reconstruction and deep integration of multiple core functions—including drive control, charging, power supply, vehicle control, battery management, differential lock, oil pump, and two-speed shifting—covering functions such as drive control, high-voltage and low-voltage power management, charging management, thermal management component drive, fault diagnosis, network management, zonal gateway, OTA updates, and coordinated control. This achieves the leap from "multi-controller combination" to "single high-performance platform."
Hirain leverages the main chip's computing power to host multiple control logics, rather than simply stacking hardware from multiple controllers. Hardware redundancy is therefore reduced, and costs decrease accordingly—this cost saving comes from architecture optimization, not from de-contenting.
▎The Confidence Behind "Low Cost, High Efficiency, High Performance"
Hirain relies on the synergy of self-developed silicon carbide (SiC) power modules, magnetic integration technology, and an integrated EMC technology stack to support the product's goals of low cost, high efficiency, and high performance. The integrated EMC technology stack addresses electromagnetic compatibility challenges arising from high-density integration, with related work initiated at the design source rather than as a remedy after problems emerge.
▎Integration and Serviceability Need Not Be Mutually Exclusive
There is a default assumption in the industry: the higher the integration, the more expensive the repair. Hirain has specifically addressed this issue—the On-Board Charger (OBC) is designed as an independently detachable and serviceable unit, with its associated low-voltage communication and control functions integrated into the main control board (XCU). Thus, what is highly integrated is the control logic, while what retains the freedom of detachment is the wear-prone component. Combined with modular design of the power section, reusability across different vehicle platforms is enhanced, benefiting development, manufacturing, and after-sales simultaneously.
From "fitting in" to "managing well," the competition in Multi-in-One integration is shifting from structural integration to system capability.
