Today, as the automotive industry undergoes profound changes driven by electrification, intelligence, and connectivity, automotive electronics must not only be "producible" but also be produced "fast, precisely, and reliably." The difficulty of this challenge keeps escalating. In response, Hirain has provided its answer with a certificate.
Recently, Hirain's Tianjin plant officially passed the national "Smart Manufacturing Capability Maturity Model" (CMMM) Level 3 certification. This certification is like a "promotion exam" for smart factories. Level 3 means the plant has moved beyond isolated, single-point automation and achieved cross-departmental, full-process digital integration and collaboration—from the moment an order is generated, through R&D, procurement, production, and logistics, all the way to customer delivery, data flows seamlessly in real time across the entire chain, enabling customers to enjoy more stable, efficient, and fully traceable end-to-end services.
The five-day assessment covered the full chain of design, production, logistics, sales, and service for core electronic products, including body and comfort domain, and new energy and powertrain systems, involving 18 key sub-domains.
An industry expert panel conducted a multi-dimensional evaluation of Hirain's intelligent manufacturing achievements through on-site inspections, system demonstrations, and evidence-based reviews, and gave high praise. They specifically noted that Hirain's production data has achieved comprehensive automatic collection and interconnection, and the company can continuously optimize processes through in-depth data analysis, demonstrating solid technical foundations and an advanced level of manufacturing management.
Behind the certification lies a long-polished, "software-hardware integrated" intelligent manufacturing system of Hirain. It is not a simple accumulation of equipment, but a forward-looking deep integration of organization and technology:
● Organizationally: Breaking down silos and concentrating all efforts.
The company has built a smart manufacturing team led by professional engineers. This team acts as a "super brain," horizontally integrating smart manufacturing integration, equipment R&D, digital systems, and supply chain collaboration, while vertically penetrating into frontline teams such as manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, warehousing and logistics, and quality control. This ensures top-level strategies are executed directly on the ground and continuously iterated.
● Technically: Self-developed software and hardware working in synergy.
○ Making systems "connected": Through its self-developed smart factory system (MOM platform), the company breaks down "information silos" among various business systems, equipment, and systems, achieving horizontal business integration and vertical data integration.
○ Making equipment "alive": Leveraging an advanced "device-edge-cloud" collaborative architecture—where device-side units perceive efficiently, edge computing responds in real time, and the cloud platform exercises global control—the plant has comprehensively enhanced its production site management, anomaly warning, and data analysis and optimization capabilities.
○ Making production lines "intelligent": The company independently designs and deploys core equipment such as AOI intelligent inspection, smart warehousing, automated material handling, and EOL (end-of-line) testing, truly enabling "self-developed software to command self-designed hardware" and achieving deep integration of proprietary industrial software and automation equipment.

Driven by the twin engines of smart manufacturing and green manufacturing, Hirain's technological innovation and management upgrades have gained widespread recognition. From "National Green Factory" and "Tianjin Advanced Smart Factory" to "Jiangsu Provincial Smart Manufacturing Workshop" and "Specialized, Fined, Peculiar and Innovative" (SRDI) enterprise, these honors bear witness to the company's solid footprints on the path toward high-end, intelligent, and green development.
Achieving CMMM Level 3 certification is an important milestone and, more significantly, a new starting point for Hirain to serve customers and pursue excellence. Facing the profound transformation of the automotive industry toward electrification, intelligence, and connectivity, as well as the supply chain's ultimate demands for agility and reliability, Hirain will continue to step up its investment in smart manufacturing, providing global customers with higher-quality and faster-response products and services, and actively empowering the intelligent transformation of the automotive industry.
