At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, the centralization of electronic and electrical architecture is accelerating. During the auto show, Dr. Fan Chengjian, President and CTO of Hirain Technologies, presented a mass production solution tailored to this demand at the MediaTek booth: the two parties jointly announced the TBox-P platform based on the flagship connectivity platform MT2739, which has fully entered mass production. On the spot, MediaTek demonstrated the performance ceiling of MT2739, while Hirain Technologies's TBox-P platform systematically transformed these cutting-edge capabilities into an engineering product solution that can be mass produced, delivered, and certified by car companies.

▎From ordinary 5G to 5G-A: An intergenerational leap in communication capabilities
The core base of the TBox-P platform is the world's first support for the 3GPP R18 5G-Advanced standard by MT2739. The R18 standard brings about a leap in carrier aggregation capability, improved modulation efficiency, enhanced uplink coverage, and power consumption optimization, signifying higher transmission potential, more stable connections, and longer standby time.
▎DSDA dual-card dual-pass: true dual-network redundancy
Safety is the cornerstone of advanced intelligent driving, and the reliability of communication links is a crucial aspect of it. The TBox-P platform adopts a DSDA (Dual SIM Dual Active) architecture, which is fundamentally different from the common single SIM or DSDS (Dual SIM Dual Standby) solutions. Under the DSDA architecture, two SIM cards can work concurrently online, providing true dual-network redundancy for services such as remote monitoring, vehicle scheduling, and emergency calls.
▎Intelligent Network Selection: AI Makes Connection More Stable
Based on the AI feature support of MT2739, the TBox-P platform supports AI Handover, enabling continuous learning of base station switching patterns. Through Smart Basement Mode, it can autonomously identify basement scenarios and optimize cell selection strategies. Based on this, vehicles can learn and predict changes in the communication environment, achieving smoother and more intelligent network switching, providing users and intelligent driving systems with a seamless and continuous connection experience.
▎High-precision positioning: born for intelligent driving
The TBox-P platform supports full-frequency multi-mode GNSS, dual-antenna heading angle output, high-performance IMU inertial navigation system fusion, and RTK/PPP raw observation output. L3+ intelligent driving has strict requirements for absolute and relative accuracy, spanning from decimeter to centimeter level accuracy. This is the core distinguishing feature of the TBox-P platform compared to the ordinary Tbox, and also enables the platform to serve as a redundant positioning source or one of the primary positioning sources for high-level intelligent driving systems.

Solid technology and mass-producible solutions are the key paths to gaining customer trust. Currently, Hirain Technologies's TBox-P platform has been selected for mass production projects by multiple Level 4 customers, covering various application scenarios such as unmanned delivery and unmanned trucks.
