Recently, the Geely Auto Battery Supplier Conference was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. Hirain Technologies (Hirain) was honored with the "Best Collaboration Award" for its exceptional synergy and outstanding service quality demonstrated during the collaborative project on the Battery Distribution and Management Unit (BDMU). This award is not only significant recognition of the close cooperation and efficient project execution between the two teams but also a direct affirmation of Hirain's customer-centric approach and its commitment to deeply responding to development requirements.

As the "intelligent butler" of the power battery system, the BDMU integrates the functions of the Battery Management System (BMS) and the Battery Distribution Unit (BDU). It is a core control unit ensuring the safe and efficient operation of high-voltage batteries. Based on the in-depth cooperation with Geely, Hirain's BDMU leverages a platform-based architecture to significantly accelerate the development efficiency of Geely's new models and provide a scalable technology foundation for the electrification transformation of its multiple brands:
● Compact Size, High Integration: Through deep integration and miniaturization development, the BDMU consolidates functions such as battery status acquisition, high-voltage power-up/down management, thermal management, and multi-channel power distribution. This not only optimizes vehicle packaging space but also reduces material and assembly costs by minimizing external wiring harnesses and connectors, while supporting automated assembly to enhance production efficiency.
● Dual Safety Design, Meeting Global Standards: The product is developed following functional safety processes up to ASIL-C/D and integrates cybersecurity measures, establishing a dual-layer safety shield for the high-voltage battery system. Combined with stringent quality control, including 100% live and loaded aging tests, it ensures stable performance throughout the product's lifecycle.
● Sophisticated Engineering, Enhancing Vehicle Competitiveness: Leveraging fine-pitch design elements such as 8-layer PCB boards, the product achieves a compact structure while ensuring excellent EMC performance. The pre-charge and heating circuits are integrated onto the PCBA, effectively reducing contact resistance and improving system response speed and energy efficiency.

Since its mass production began in August 2025, Hirain's first-generation BDMU has achieved rapid production ramp-up and stable deliveries, with cumulative shipments reaching 100,000 units within four months. This provides a solid guarantee for the battery safety and performance of the relevant vehicle models. Concurrently, the second-generation BDMU product, developed jointly by both parties, is progressing in an orderly manner and is planned for gradual mass production introduction in the second half of 2026. The new generation product will feature further upgrades in integration level, performance, and reliability, offering a more competitive solution for the iteration of Geely's new energy vehicle models.
Beyond the BDMU, Hirain's products supplied to Geely also include physical zone controllers (ZCU), Augmented Reality Head-Up Displays (AR-HUD), and front-view monocular cameras, covering core areas such as the vehicle's E/E architecture, intelligent cockpit, and intelligent driving. This demonstrates the company's full-stack solution capabilities.
