HIRAIN & ZTE Launch All-Domestic "Chip+Software" Solution for Central Computing Scenarios

During the 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, HIRAIN and ZTE jointly unveiled a fully localized "domestic chip + domestic software" solution for central computing scenarios, and participated in the launch ceremony of AUTOSEMO Automotive Operating System Open Source Community. Focusing on achieving full-stack technological autonomy in automotive operating systems, the collaboration aims to reduce adaptation costs, enhance development efficiency, and promote industry chain synergy through resource integration and chip-software convergence.
The jointly developed solution combines ZTE's self-developed high-performance automotive OS with HIRAIN's AUTOSAR platform EAS, successfully adapted to ZTE's central computing SoC "Hanyu" M1. This hardware-software decoupling intelligent foundation will accelerate localized mass production of collaborative solutions for smart connected vehicles.
ZTE's automotive OS features an open decoupled architecture comprising embedded hypervisor, high-security microkernel RTOS, and function-enhanced Safety Linux, supporting multiple scenarios including intelligent cockpit, ADAS, connectivity, and central computing.
The automotive-grade "Hanyu" M1 SoC, developed by ZTE Microelectronics, integrates high-performance computing cores, high-speed communication architecture, and multi-layer security mechanisms. Successful adaptation between M-core and HIRAIN's INTEWORK-EAS-CP, and A-core with ZTE's Safety Linux-based INTEWORK-EAS-AP, demonstrates production-ready maturity of chip SDK software. This full-stack central computing solution (Chip+SDK+OS+AP+CP) significantly reduces development cycles and risks, facilitating centralized E/E architecture upgrades.
HIRAIN's INTEWORK-EAS provides AUTOSAR-compliant protocol stacks and functional safety/security middleware for MCU/MPU applications. The adapted solution with "Hanyu" M1 offers reliable options for central computing platforms, domain controllers, and central vehicle control units, meeting rapid mass-production requirements.
Moving forward, HIRAIN will deepen collaboration with ecosystem partners to advance localized hardware-software integrated solutions, driving autonomous controllable mass-production projects to empower China's automotive intelligence development.
