HIRAIN Launches Mass-Production Imaging Radar System LRR615 Based on Arbe Chipset

Abstract: The next-generation radar system, featuring the first high-density waveguide antenna, is now available for evaluation by vehicle manufacturers.
HIRAIN, a leading provider of advanced intelligent driving systems in China’s automotive market, has officially launched the LRR615, a mass-production long-range imaging radar system. Built on Arbe’s high-performance chipset, the system delivers ultra-high-resolution imaging across all weather and lighting conditions while maintaining exceptional reliability. It is now open for evaluation by automakers.
As the first radar system equipped with a high-density waveguide antenna, the LRR615 enhances image clarity, improves detection sensitivity, and significantly boosts signal integrity. It offers long-range detection capabilities, maintaining high resolution even in complex environments while eliminating false alarms. Designed as a cost-effective, scalable imaging sensor, the LRR615 complements camera sensors and serves as a LiDAR alternative, addressing the growing demands of China’s autonomous driving market. Its performance surpasses existing radar systems on the market by tenfold.

As a major upgrade to HIRAIN’s autonomous driving platform, the LRR615 synergizes with existing camera sensors and radar systems to deliver comprehensive L2+ to L3 autonomous functionalities. HIRAIN has completed full-system integration, calibration, and validation of the LRR615 and is ramping up production capacity to achieve mass delivery of tens of thousands of units annually.
