HIRAIN Makes a Splash at the 6th Hime Auto Seat Conference, Co-creating a New Driving Experience

Recently, the 6th Hime Auto Seat Conference was successfully held in Shanghai. Themed "Enjoy the Ride, Innovation and Sustainable Development Lead to the Ultimate Driving Experience," the conference attracted over 500 professionals from the automotive seat industry, including vehicle manufacturers, seat assembly manufacturers, parts suppliers, material and process companies, equipment manufacturers, and academic and research institutions. At the conference, participants fully interpreted and discussed the current technological hotspots and future development opportunities and trends in the domestic and international automotive seat fields.

HIRAIN's Vehicle Domain Control Business Unit Director, Quan Miaomiao, was invited to attend the conference and delivered a keynote speech titled "Seat Control Solutions in the Smart Cockpit". From different dimensions such as seat control functions in the smart cockpit, seat control solutions and core technologies, and the future development direction of seat control, Quan presented HIRAIN's mass production practices and innovative achievements in seat controller products to the attendees.

Quan Miaomiao pointed out in her sharing that against the backdrop of the gradual intelligence of automotive cockpits and the regionalization of automotive electrical architectures, automotive seat control needs to adopt a combination of regional control units + independent control modules. The regional control unit ZCU undertakes basic configuration functions, and the independent modules, in line with the overall vehicle positioning and market demands, undertake high-end functions. In recent years, HIRAIN has successively launched independent seat control modules with 8-way, 14-way, and even 24-way adjustment and memory functions. These modules, based on a platform design of both hardware and software, can achieve highly customized function configurations, meeting the diverse needs of the market.

Regarding key seat control technologies, Quan Miaomiao provided a detailed discussion on solutions such as seat anti-pinch algorithms and calibration verification, dual motor synchronous control, and spatial linkage. Regarding the future development direction of seat control, she stated that under the current market environment, platformization, high performance, and low cost remain the goals that HIRAIN has always pursued and strived for.

Full Autosar Architecture-Based Software Solution
HIRAIN's second-generation electric seat module maintains high-standard design requirements, achieving functional safety ASIL-B, compliant with the FULL AUTOSAR 4.2.2 software architecture standard, and meeting export requirements to the European Union. In addition, it can provide multi-configuration solutions, supporting 4-seat, 5-seat, 7-seat layouts, meeting the configuration requirements of different vehicle models.

More seat controller assembly solutions can be customized according to needs.
The second-generation electric seat control module, building on the excellent performance and user reputation of the first-generation product, also supports more seat posture adjustments. In addition to meeting horizontal, height, and backrest conventional adjustments, it also supports seat cushion angle, leg rest, foot rest, headrest, shoulder, side wing, and lumbar adjustments to achieve a comfortable sitting position. Features such as position memory and easy entry and exit make the vehicle able to remember the driver's best rest and driving positions, quickly adjusting the seat to a suitable position after the user gets in the car, convenient, fast, and more user-friendly.
HIRAIN's intelligent seat control system product line has now shipped over 3.8 million sets. Since mass production, it has been refined and continuously innovated. The third-generation electric seat module under development is about to enter mass production. The third-generation product has optimized the motor drive solution design, capable of multi-motor synchronous operation, dual-speed adjustment, soft start and stop, and quiet control, fully demonstrating intelligence, efficiency, and elegance.
