Millimeter wave radar products include forward-looking medium range millimeter wave radar (MRR), side-looking short range millimeter wave radar (SRR), and vehicle occupancy detection millimeter wave radar (VODR). The mounting position and field of view of these three types of radars on the vehicle are shown in Figure 1, and their corresponding appearance and dimensions are shown in Figure 2 and 3.

Product Functions    
     
  • MRR detects forward obstacles, and measures target parameters. MRR can be used to support FCW, AEB, ACC and other L2 or higher level functions of autonomous driving systems.
  • SRR detects obstacles in its FOV, and measures target parameters. SRR can be used to realize BSD, LCA, CTA and other L2 or higher level functions of autonomous driving systems.
  • VODR automatically detects left child in the car. If a left child in the car is detected by VODR, VODR alarms the car owner in time through sound and light or remote message. VODR can be applied to avoid tragedies caused by unintentionally left children in parked cars.
